Nazir Razak attacked NEP!

“It is timely to examine the NEP, look at how the NEP retards national unity, investments and economic efficiency and develop a new, more relevant framework for economic policy-making,” said Nazir, who is chief executive officer of Malaysia’s second largest bank CIMB.

What say you Lim Guan Eng? Where is the shouting and bickering of this brainless UMNO goons? LGY the PR Penang Chief  Minister was the target of attacked when he voice out about NEP. He was accused by UMNO to be “public enemy no.1” to the malays. They even threaten him with ISA. PR defacto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was also not spared. They accuse him to be a traitor to his own malay race, “dia sudah kena main dengan Cina..”

Now, if we look at the sentiment of  the economic gurus’, it shows us to a certain extend, something in the NEP will hinder economic growth. Of course not all. What I mean is at, a review on the NEP is timely. But it should not undermine the initial concept of NEP, to close the gap among the multi-racial Malaysian society.
